What is SAGESG?

About Us

Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship Singapore (SAGESG) is the Singapore chapter of SAGE that caters to pre-university students from local Junior Colleges.

An initiative by Professor Tan Teck Meng, a Professor of Accountancy at the Singapore Management University (SMU), SAGESG was officially launched on 29th January 2008.

SAGESG National Competition

The SAGESG Nationals in June 2013 will allow participating Junior College teams to showcase their social enterprise ventures and compete for the chance to represent Singapore at the SAGE World Cup in Abuja, Nigeria from 6-13 August 2013. Click here to find out how teams and their social enterprises are assessed.

Organizing Team

SAGESG is organised by Singapore Management University - Initiatives for Social Enterprise (SMU-ISE). SMU-ISE is a student-run social entrepreneurship club that seeks to expose, educate and empower its members to be effective agents of social change. It also works with other social organisations to initiate projects that benefit society.
